Sham paced his room restlessly. "who could be the guy? " he thought. He kept gazing unfocused. Smirk appeared on his face.

"Who could fall for a limping lady with psychological problems, with a failed marriage...robbed off all the wealth... with braces on her ankle? Haa....!" he laughed hysterically. "Raani Saheba... you have nowhere to go!! " he smirked...

"Khushi ji, I know your plan! Now let me see, what are you up to!" he packed his bag and went down to check out.

Khushi took her car and raced away from Raizada House. She dialed her security agency and doubled the House security. She had instructed the security men not to leave any of the family member alone. She insisted that Anjali be given double protection. She had secured the safety of the family. Now the next move.

She waited on the street with bated breath. She knew Sham would do something after hearing about Anjali's engagement. She had anticipated Sham to go to Raizada House and confront Anjali. Khushi was ready this time to take on!

Sham had called up Babuji to send him money.. only to find his fund resource had dried up. He was frustrated. He badly needed money to execute his plan.

He had tried his babuji's number several times but he got the same answer. All the accounts were frozed by the bank. Rattan Singh could not help. Suddenly something was happening. There was a police enquiry about his affairs. His babuji seemed panic and had requested Sham to come to Kanpur to sort the things out. It seemed his babuji too was trapped. "Double Trouble!" Sham had to do something. He should find out who was doing all this.

"Now tell me Rattan... should I move on? On my next demand?" he asked smirking. His grandmother was still rocking and he was standing next to her.

"If this Krishna Kant does not know, I would like to enlighten him!" said Arnav in clear authoritative voice. Krishna Kant looked taken aback.

"All the property belongs to me now! I already have the title deeds in my name!" said Arnav looking at his grandmother.

"This house belongs to her!" he kept his hand on the back rest to stop her from rocking.
"I want this man out of this house, right now!" She yelled. He smirked.

"So Krishna Kant... what do you want to do? Stay here and face her wrath or go behind bars?" he asked giving him choice. Krishna Kant Zaa had no answer.

"Rattan, if you want to save your skin, do as I say!" ordered Arnav. He looked at the time. It was time for him to move out of the House. But he had not finished yet. He dialed a number looking at all the Thakurs.

"I need protection!" he said over the phone and continued his conversation with the Thakurs...
"So do you want to call your son here, Krishna Kant?" he asked. Krishna kant did not answer.

Sham came out of the lodge. He hailed for a taxi and raced away followed cautiously by Khushi. When she saw he was heading towards Airport, she got panic. Her plan to stop him from going to Kanpur had flopped. She stopped her car to think about her next move.
After a while she dialed to book her ticket too and slammed on the accelerator. She had to go!!

***** ******
Ramani had already left to Kanpur from Mumbai with his select men with all his network on high alert. This was against his Dada's orders. But he had decided to operate alone. He had to protect his Dada's interest even by going against him.

Papaji waited anxiously for another couple of hours dialing Khushi's number several times in vain. He grew panic.

"Why this girl has to do this to me? Can't she understand how worried I am?" he was enraged with Khushi. He was worried about her. He was angry with her for her habit of risking her life and operating alone not consulting anyone. He was frustrated with his own helplessness.

"Damn it!" He sounded like Arnav. "Where is he?" he tried Arnav's number and was picked up by Aakash.

"Sorry Aakash puttar, I forgot that he has left his phone with you!" papaji disconnected. He did not know what to do. There was no point in spreading panic. He decided not to talk about it to anyone. But he should do something.

"I will go to Kanpur!" he decided.

****** ********* *****
Khushi got her ticket in her hand. She looked around and ducked. Sham was in check in area. She had to stay away from him and follow him without his knowledge. Unfortunately they were boarding the same plane. She did not know about it. She looked at the time. She decided to go to rest room and kill time there and also be away from Sham. She went inside. Adrenaline made her perspire. She washed her face and wore her lipstick again. She did not know what to do. She started pacing the restroom. Ladies stared at her. She ignored them completely. She stopped when she heard the announcement of her flight. She took out the four mannat keys bound in one single ring, clenched them in her fist, closed her eyes and "Arnav ji... I am coming!" she said loudly.

Arnav suddenly winced in the middle of the conversation. He stopped dead...

"No! ... No! don't come here!" he said loudly, unknowingly. He froze at his own outburst. He looked around. The uneasy feeling and the gust of wind made him shiver. He was experiencing the feeling that any moment she would be here. Everybody else was shocked.

"What?" Rattan was first one to ask narrowing his eyes suspiciously.

Arnav suddenly became aware of the situation and pressed his bluetooth to his ear and continued.

"Don't Khushi.. don't send the police right now.. I am talking to them. I will tell you later!" he hushed up the situation. He posed that he had his men everywhere.

Rattan seemed to be ok with this. "Khushi... Please.. don't risk your life...please don't come here!" Arnav prayed hard.

"so let us continue!" Arnav looked at everyone. Krishna Kant smirked.

"You seem to have no protection!" he said taking a step ahead. Arnav knew what was coming.
"Why do I need protection to be in my house?" he asked firmly. Krishna Kant stopped. He turned back and spoke to Rattan.

"You don't have to worry about this boy! I will take care of him..." he assured Rattan dialing a number. Time was running out for Arnav!! He had to finish his work before Khushi could reach him.....

"Ok... to start with...!" Arnav took his time to create right kind of atmosphere.

"Call this Zaa here!" he ordered Rattan. Rattan seemed to be shocked with the demand.
"Wh.. why?" he asked feebly. All his strength was drained out.

"Call him here, Rattan!" Arnav repeated his demand. Rattan dialed Krishan Kant Zaa's number reluctantly.

"umm.. " he started off when the phone was picked up. Arnav snatched the phone and pressed it against his ear.

"Why have you called me? Rattan Saab... there is nothing I can do now!" said a sad voice.
"Call him here!" Arnav gave back the phone.

"umm.. come here! Its urgent!" ordered Rattan and disconnected.

"He will be here in half an hour!" said Rattan unable to gauge the purpose.

"Fine! Till then I need some answers from you guys!" Arnav looked relaxed.
"But before that, I am hungry" he looked at his grandmother. She hurriedly got up.

"I will prepare something for you!" she said happily. "I know what you like!.. your grandfather...!" she held his hand and got up from the rocking chair. She walked inside without anyone's help.

"Now, Rattan... tell me, why are you so dependent on this Zaa? Can you not handle your own affairs? Are you so weak?" he asked Rattan. With every question.. Rattan was furious.
"It's none of your business!" he said flaring up.

"Ok.. let me ask him when he comes here!" said Arnav threateningly. Rattan looked nervous.
"Who is this Zaa?" he asked the elderly person.

"He was our Khandani Servant for generations together!" answered the elderly person..
"Was?" asked Arnav. The elderly person just nodded. "He is our partner now!"
Arnav raised his eyebrows.... "What happened so that you have to make your servant, your partner?" asked Arnav. There came no answer. There was an awkward silence. The atmosphere was tensed up.

"I asked you what happened, Rattan...! Are you scared of him?" asked Arnav smirking.
"I will tell you what happened... come inside!" came a shrill voice. Grandmother was at the door with parathas in a plate.

"He is a partner in their crimes... his son gets these people out of any situation ... he is the one who gives all wrong advises and these fools are ruining themselves...!" She started off again. Arnav smiled. The jigsaw puzzle pieces had started falling in places. His smile widened.
"Ok! Rattan... the second thing I want is you sever all relations with this Zaa...!" he ordered Rattan.

"Don't help any one of these Zaas financially...! The moment I find out you are helping them... I will disclose your true identity!" threatened Arnav. Rattan looked aghast.

"Don't worry about him blackmailing you; I have made enough arrangements for your security!" Arnav assured him.

"That bastard Krishna Kant Zaa ... even supplied girls to these buggers... I know every detail of his deeds!" Grandmother was all set to disclose everything, now that her grandson had come back to protect her....She had suppressed her anger for so long... it erupted with the smallest trigger, instigation by her grandson...!

"Come...!" she called Arnav fondly feeding him a mouthful of Paratha and Dahi (curd).
The Thakurs looked helpless.

"Come... sit here!" Arnav pacified her making her sit on the rocking chair. He stood next to her, eating paratha as she fed him....

*** ****** *****

Krishna Kant Zaa was at the door... Arnav gaped with his mouth falling open. He could sense the striking resemblance with Sham Manohar Zaa!!

Krishna Kant Zaa froze when he saw the old woman sitting on the Rocking Chair and ... he saw the ghost!.. Ghost of Shamsher Singh Thakur...Arnav Singh Raizada..! His throat went dry. He perspired heavily and took a step backwards.

Grandmother started off again ..when she saw him! Rattan called him in...
"Time to pay back!" Said Arnav loudly. He dialed a number!

"Interesting scoop! Send someone to shoot the drama!" he smirked looking at Zaa. Zaa was taken aback. He sensed danger and tried to back off...

"No use! Police are waiting for you outside! Rattan has made all the arrangements...!" Arnav played his move. Rattan looked aghast but couldn't deny. He looked at Zaa helplessly.
Krishna Kant Zaa tried to dial a number!

"Ow..ow Calling your son?" asked Arnav and without waiting for the answer went ahead..
"No use! He cannot come here! He is busy fighting his own battle!" he said disdainfully. Zaa was shocked to the core. He had nowhere to run!!

******* ********* *********

"I must stop him from reaching Arnavji! I must!" she thought to herself resolutely. She remembered the receptionist girl saying he was to leave in the night.

"I have some time to think. I must... !" Khushi paced the room restlessly. She racked her brain to stop him. She stopped dead. "I cannot go to police...! What will I tell when they ask me what was I doing in the lodge!" she thought. "should I run him over and pose it as accident?" extreme thought she got out of frustration..."No! I should find out something else to stop him!" she thought.

She dialed his number. He picked up. "Hello Sham ji, This is Khushi!" she said and waited for his reaction. He was shocked. He looked at his mobile again... the number was unknown.
"Thank you for telling me the truth... you know what? Even I wanted to tell you something!" she said and stopped. Sham was initially shocked but then regaining his senses, he too waited for her to go ahead. There was a silence for a while... then Khushi continued..

"Surprised by this? Then listen... your dearest Raani Saheba got engaged!" she dropped the bombshell. There was silence at the other end. Khushi laughed.

"Sham ji... its over... your last chance to mess up with our lives has gone!" she contined.
"You know what, Sham ji? Di will be getting married soon as your marriage got cancelled! Now you wring your hands!!" She rubbed salt on the burn wound. He got enraged.

"This can't be true! Raani Saheba can never do this, I know her! She is a nave, lame person. She loves me! She can't do this!" he thought.

"Khushi ji, do you think I am stupid enough to believe you?" he asked angrily.
"Ok. Leave it! I just wanted reciprocate your good gesture in telling me the truth about my father!" she said prepare to hang up.

"Who is the guy?" he asked in a low voice.
"Find out yourself, before its too late!" she laughed and disconnected.

"This is enough to keep you busy for next few days, Sham ji! Arnav ji will finish his work and come back!" she said loudly and went down in Di's room.

"Di.. promise me that you will not take his call... ! And please don't go out alone!" she requested her. She now understood the danger in disclosing Di's engagement to Sham...!" Di looked surprised.

"Di, he knows about your engagement!" she said gravely.

"What?.. How?.. I mean who told him?" she screamed in shock! Khushi avoided her gaze and did not answer.

"Promise me Di!" she said again. Di nodded.
"Now I got to call him at some place to finish him off! I need to plan for this!" she thought seriously and went back to her room!

She packed her bag and came down.
"Nani ji, I have to go to Kolkata. Its urgent!" she said looking at her bag.

"Is everything ok?" Asked nani concerned.
"I don't know. There was a call. I have already booked my ticket!" she said looking away feeling guilty.
She went out hurriedly.

"Dada... Something is going one!" called Ramani. Papaji got confused...! He was in a meeting with his unit heads and Shondeep was briefing them.

"What? What happened?" he asked.

"Dada, your son in law.. Arnav is in Kanpur.. !" Ramani said.
"What?" Papaji got up with a jerk. Everyone looked at him in surprise. He hurriedly went out.
"Dada, he is in danger! He went alone...!" Ramani sounded tensed up.
"Where?" papaji was still confused.

"Thakur Mansion!... one of my men saw him in Janata Darbar... and then he went inside the house with Thakurs!" Ramani gave him all the information.

"Dada, he is in danger!" Ramani repeated.

"Wait... I didn't know, he went to Kanpur!" papaji blurted.
"No one knows!" said Ramani. "Dada, I am leaving for Kanpur! No matter what happens, I will bring him back!" he said.

"No, Ramani, wait! Let me inquire first!" papaji stopped him from taking drastic action. He knew once Ramani reached there... there was going to be blood shed...!

"Ramani listen! Give me a day! I will see what is going on! I will call you back. Don't do anything till I ask you!" he almost ordered Ramani.

"Ok, Dada!" Ramani was disappointed at Papaji's approach. He knew every minute was important... It was since a week Arnav was moving around in Kanpur, unattended, unguarded, unarmed. His men were keeping an eye on him. But when he entered Thakur Mansion, Ramani lost his patience.

"Dada, with due respect... but I am going to Kanpur!" he said to himself resolutely after disconnecting the phone.

Papaji came back to his cabin and dialed Khushi's number. It was switched off. He waited for a while and again diled in vain. He lost his patience and dialed the landline.

"Hello! Namaste.. this is Balwindar singh!" he greeted.

"Hello! Is everything ok?" Nani asked.
"Yeah! Where is Khushi?" he sounded desperate.

"Khushi left for Kolkata couple of hours back. She must have boarded the flight!" said nani in assuring tone. Papaji was more confused. "What is going on?" he thought.

"Is everything ok? What is it that you called her to Kolkata so urgently?" Asked Nani smiling.
"What?" he was shocked. Then coming back to senses said "Oh! I mean Raj had some work!" he disconnected. Now this was something to worry about. Khushi told in the house that she was going to Kolkata. But she had no plans to go to Kolkata. Papaji decided to wait for her.
"What happened?" Shondeep was standing before him. Papaji looked at him blankly.
"I don't know!" he said gravely.

Khushi came back to her room. She was restless.

"This is not done. Something is wrong! I cannot wait till Arnav ji calls ! I have to verify it myself..!" she thought pacing the room. She came down, took her car keys and raced away without informing anyone.

She came to the twin lodge and went to reception. "Is there anyone called Mr. Zaa staying in here? I have an appointment with him!" she asked. The receptionist checked and said.
"Yes, he is staying in here but has gone out now. You can wait at the lounge!"

She looked around. The lodge looked very cheap. "What happened? Why is he staying here?" she wondered lingering at the reception.

"since how long he is staying here?" she asked casually to one of the receptionist girl. She looked into the register and said 13 days. Khushi nodded sitting on the chair nearby. She started conversation with the girl praising her smartness, her attire and her looks. The girl fell for it and started giving away information readily.

"He is our regular customer since one year. Keeps staying in here even for a month. Some court cases he has here!" the girl said.

"Yeah, actually, I have a case and I wanted to consult him!" said Khushi smiling.
"Oh! " the girl said.

"Lot of people must be visiting him!" Khushi blurted.
"No! actually, I think he is a loner! No one visits him. You are the first one!" said the girl.
"And the court cases I talked about are his own cases. That's what I heard him talking over the phone!" the girl continued.

"Ok. I think I should leave now. I will come tomorrow!" said Khushi.

"But he is checking out tonight! He has asked us to prepare his bill!" said the girl. Khushi did not wait there. She came out.

"He is leaving tonight! He definitely knows where Arnav ji is! I should find out. I should meet Arnav ji before he reaches him!" She thought.

"Arnav ji! Please call! Hey Devi Mayya, Raksha Karana!" she prayed joining her hands closing her eyes.

"Waiting for me?" came a sly voice. She turned in a jerk. Sham was standing before her. Her mouth fell open. She gaped at him. Coming back to her senses she looked around to find some excuse.

"Khushi ji, you look gorgeous!" he complemented her smacking his lips. Khushi looked at him with disgust.

"But you don't look well, Sham ji! What happened? Got whacked by someone again?" she asked looking at his scar face. She was thinking hard to find out an escape route.

"Leave it, Khushi ji. Let me see how you look when you get to know the truth and Arnav throws you out of his life!" he said smirking.

"That is not your lookout, sham ji!" she said enraged.

"Oh yes! That will be my lookout! Once you have nowhere to go, I will be the one to give you helping hand!" he was all set to touch her. She stepped backwards.

"I will end my life, in that case!" she said with a loathing look. He got enraged.

"What is so special in that ASR Khushi ji? " he asked her coming forward. She stood her grounds. Her eyes spat anger. " A filth like you will never know!" she retorted back.

"Khushi ji! He is definitely going to throw you out, when he knows the truth!" he declared. She was taken aback. What was that truth that he knows and Arnav is about to know? She was confused. She should find out.

"Oh is it? Truth? From you?" she gave him a hallow laugh. He got enraged again.
"Yes the truth! Such a truth that will shatter your life, Khushiji! All your so called family members are going to hate you!" he said disdainfully. She gaped at him.

"Oh yeah? Let me see what truth you unearth!" she said angrily.

"Do you want to know? Before your husband knows? That will help you prepare yourself for the wrath!" he asked her taking a step ahead. She looked at him challenging him to tell her!
"But wait a minute.. ! he won't be able to tell the truth... because... he has entered the lion's den unarmed... he will not come out alive... Khushi ji.. he is trapped in chakra-vyuha! Abhimanyu will fall, Khushi ji... no one will save him this time!" he gave her a laugh.

"Oh yeah? You think so? Do you think he is stupid enough not to secure his protection? Wait and watch.... He will not only come out alive... but he will come out killing his enemy!" she gave him a disdainful laugh flaring up her nose. He looked taken aback.

"He has a full protection!" she declared confidently.

"Ok. So you want to get ousted and kicked out by him!" he came a step ahead very close to her. She did not wince and stood there.

"But he won't get that satisfaction... as I am going to disclose the truth to you Khushi!" he said contemptuously.

"You know what, he has gone to reopen the case of the death of his father... and there is evidence that your father killed him!" he spat it out. Khushi stood there like a statue. Sham came nearer and whispered in her ears..

"Khushi, go and pack your bags and I will be waiting for you here to embrace you!" he moved away from her. She still stood there not taking in anything. She didn't know for how long she was standing there. She slowly collected herself and came to her car. She had no energy to drive. She sat there hiding her face in her hands.

"My father? Killed his father?" she couldn't believe. "How does he know? Why didn't Arnav ji told me about it?" she thought.

"He is right. If this is true, I must leave this house. That will be my atonement.. my reparation for what my father did... !" tears rolled down her cheeks. She started the car and headed towards home. She must be out! She must prepare herself for penance.. she should leave the house.

She came home and went to her room. "Arnav ji!"she called out in despair. But her cell did not ring this time. She floundered.

"I should find out!" she thought dialing Dasgupta's number. "He should know... he must have filed an application!" she thought rightly.

"Uncle, Khushi!" she called.

"Khooki... how are you?" Dasgupta was in particularly good mood.

"Uncle I wanted to know... I mean... did you file an application ... to reopen his Father's case?" she asked him directly with little hesitation.

"Oh yes, Khooki... we found a new evidence...! Aurnob's father will get full justice this time.. ! Khooki... you know...!" he was surprised to see his cell going blank. Khushi had cut the phone abruptly. Dasgupta was surprised... he shrugged and resumed his work.

"This means what he was telling is true!" she thought. They found solid evidence this time... that means ...!" she sobbed hard. "That's why Arnav ji did not call me! He must be in despair... His father...!" she could imagine Arnav's plight.

"I am responsible for my father's deeds...I should take punishment... I should leave this house!" she pulled out her bag.

"Khushi... take care of everyone in the house while I am away!" she remembered her promise to Arnav...!

"No! I can't leave like this. I should wait till Arnav ji comes back... I should take care of the family. It is my responsibility...!" she thought resolutely...

"Let Arnav ji come home! I will tell everyone the truth and leave this house forever!" she thought wiping off her eyes.

She got up with determination... "In that case, if I am to leave the house... I will finish him off! If I am to take punishment for my father's deeds, I will might as well get double punishment for killing him myself!" she thought pacing the room.

"Sham Manohar Zaa!! Thank you for telling me the truth...! Count your days!! Count your days, Mr. Zaa!!" she yelled clenching her fists... "Yelgaar Ho!" she declared war against Sham Manohar Zaa!!

"This time, no loopholes in planning.. Shaatir Dimag, like Arnav ji!! I will have a fool proof plan. I will finish him off first... and then tell everyone the truth about my father!" she said to herself resolutely. Indeed his countdown had begun....!!

Sham was desperate. He needed money. All his accounts were frozen. The normal source of fund suddenly dried up. He was worried. All his resources seemed to have cut off. He did not know what was happening. He had the hunch that he was followed everywhere by the informants of police. He couldn't take any risk. He tried Rattan Singh, tried his old acquaintances, his accomplice in his crime in vain. No one even picked up his phone. He was frustrated.

"No! I should keep cool!" he thought resolutely. He started putting the pieces in places. He could visualize the jigsaw puzzle. Some pieces were missing.

"I know his past. I know her father was interrogated for his father's murder. I know he does not know the full story yet. I know she does not know anything of this. I know this will be the final blow to their relationship. I know with this they both will break down. Rattan will have his share of the cake and I will have mine. Arnav Singh Raizada will be cornered. I will regain my position!" smirk appeared on his face. But the next moment it shadowed with worry.

"Something is missing! Something very crucial is missing! I should find out! I should find out where is Arnav right now!" he got up with a jerk. He dialed Rattan's number again. "No reply!" Rattan was busy fighting his own losing battle.

As a last resort, Sham dialed another number reluctantly... "Babuji...!" he called!

"Now that everyone is here, tell me grandmother... do you want them to stay here?" Arnav asked.

She gaped at him. For the first time in her life, someone was giving her the authority to take the decision. She looked around proudly, loathing at the men on one side and pitying the women who too for the first time gathered in the hall standing opposite the men in the family. She felt sorry for the women.

"Look at them... these animals... what they have done to their wives and daughters... " she started off again raising her voice. A young well built Thakur Boy came forward gritting his teeth..."Oh! Shut up budhiya!" he screamed coming on to her in rage. Arnav stepped in raising his hand. "The police is waiting outside with media!" he said in his deep voice and pushed the boy aside. The old lady laughed hysterically.

"Tables have turned.... !" he said and looked at the elderly man. "You better control your anger..!" he turned to the old lady again for her verdict.

"I don't want to see any of these people in this house.... " she said in shrill voice pointing at the Thakurs. "But then... I feel sad about these women... look at them.. where will they go?" she had tears in her eyes.

"And after all they are my family!" she said hopelessly. "I can't oust them out like this!" she said.

Arnav could sense relief on the Thakurs faces. He gauged all of them for a while.
"Yes.umm... but... I won't let them stay in this house. This is my house too!" he said looking at Rattan. He was taken aback. The Thakurs exchanged glances and then Rattan had a smirk on his face....

"Chotte...!" he started off disdainfully. "I think you should stop this drama if you want to go out of this house alive!" he said in a threatening voice. Arnav knew what was coming.
"Oh! Yes! I will go out of this house alive and you will go behind bars... with full media exposure!" Arnav said in a deadly voice coming forward and placing his hand on Rattan's shoulder making him wince in fright.

"I have already given a statement to the media and if I don't go out by end of the day, all your deeds will be out in media" he said smiling.

"I don't think you can afford this, Rattan, looking at your position here! You will be behind bars in no time! I have all the evidence of your forgery and criminal deeds! And I know who your real father is and where is he now" Arnav was as deadly as ever. Rattan was speechless.
"What do you want?" asked the elderly person. Arnav ignored him and continued.

"Your father is in Jail, Rattan!" declared Arnav. Arnav took out a photo from his pocket and handed it over to Rattan. Rattan was thunderstruck. Arnav heard a faint sob. He looked around at the women side. One of them dashed inside sobbing hard. Arnav could recognize her. She was the one in the wedding photo with his father which they produced to prove that his mother was not the legally wedded wife of his father. He clenched his fists.

"See... what they have done... I am sure they killed my son too! You killed Nirmal ... with ... with that scoundrel Zaa... that bugger... that... bastard.. that rascal... " She poured all her vocabulary... cursing the Thakurs. Arnav got alerted. He came back to her...

"What did you say? Zaa?" he wanted to get it confirmed. She went on...
"Yes.. that Krishna Kant Zaa! He is the one who spoiled the entire generation of Thakurs... and the one who opposed him... got killed or vanished.... He killed my son... your father...!" she started crying... !

He was shocked... "This... this sajjan Thakur.. killed your father with his help... That zaa... he is the real culprit... I am sure... there was a big conspiracy... they locked me in for several years...!" she started off shouting again incoherently. Arnav tried to assimilate the things. The old skeletons were getting unearthed.

"Oh, come on! She has lost her mind!" said the elderly person... coming forward to stop her from further blabber...! Arnav stopped him in the middle.

"Who is this zaa?" he asked him again. No one answered. Arnav took out his trump card. He dialed a number and said "I am calling police. I already have filed a complaint and they have arrest warrant against you Rattan! Imagine what will happen...!" Rattan shuddered
"No ... Stop!" Rattan said dialing a number.

"Comissioner...! What's happening? How dare you register his complaint?" Rattan shouted on phone. Arnav smirked. Rattan looked aghast.

"You.. you planned it...! You planted the evidence...!" he came on to Arnav. Arnav raised his hand to stop him.

"No use, Rattan! Its over! You are finished!" Arnav said smirking.
"What do you want?" asked the elderly person.

Arnav looked at everyone gauging their reaction...
"Rattan.. I can stop all this....!" He said again ignoring the elderly person. Rattan looked at him completely defeated and asked
"What do you want?"
"Ok... to start with...!" Arnav took his time to create right kind of atmosphere.

********* ******** *****

Khushi got up in the morning. She remembered her conversation with Arnav. When she said she knew where he was, he was shocked.

"Khushi.. don't you ever disclose my whereabouts. Promise me! And don't do anything dangerous" he had said gravely. She had promised.

"Arnav ji!" she blurted missing him a lot!
She had promised Arnav that she will not go after Sham, but she couldn't resist. She had seen him on the same spot twice. She grew curious.

"I will find out what is he up to!" she said resolutely and came down. She finished her chores and after breakfast asked nani...

"Naniji can I go out for some time? I have to go Mandir and then I need to go to the office. Arnav ji had asked me to pick up a file from the office!" she said looking around. Nani ji nodded. She took a sigh of relief and stepped out of the room.

She drove her car out of the gates and came on the road. She drove slowly looking at the time. She again saw him. But this time an unknown person was with him and they were in deep discussion. She looked around.

"He stands here ... that means he must be staying nearby!" she looked around for some clue..There were two lodged side by side. She smiled. Sham had started moving towards the car. The other person drove the car and they started moving. Khushi took a U turn and followed them. The car ahead was weeding through the busy Roads and it was difficult for her to keep pace with it. They were in Paschim Vihar .. She followed the car closely.

The car ahead stopped and Sham got down. Khushi waited stopping her car. She did not have to wait for a long. Sham came out of the building and started walking down the road. She waited in the car. He was clutching his phone to his ear talking frantically.

A broad smile appeared on Khushi's face. She started shaking her leg and humming. She waited for a while and dialed a number.

Sham was busy talking over the phone and he saw another number calling. He looked at the unknown number and ignored. He couldn't continue the conversation and disconnected the phone. He looked around and waited for the call.

His phone rang again... "Who is this?" he asked picking up immediately and stepping down from the footpath.

There was no answer. He disconnected. There was a message... "We are watching you!" he looked around and a car came racing towards him. He just jumped backwards in a nick of time. The car raced away. He wiped off sweat from his forehead.

"I haven't failed! I will not!" he said to himself. He took a taxi and came back to his lodge.

Khushi came back home happily humming....!
"What is it Khushi ji? You look happy!" asked Anjali. Khushi smiled broadly.

"Yes Di! I am happy today!" she said.
"I know why she is happy!" said Nani. Khushi looked surprised.

"I know chote is coming in the evening!" declared Nani.
"What?" asked Anjali. Khushi couldn't believe her ears.

"yes Anjali bitiya... he is coming! He had called up!" said Nani. Khushi was confused.
"What the...! Yesterday night he had called me!" she thought. Something is wrong... Her heart skipped a beat! She was puzzled.

"umm.. Naniji... I mean when did he call?" she asked trying to sound normal.

"Oh! Someone from his office had called and gave the message!" said nani casually.
"Is this a decoy again?" Khushi was really worried. She had no option than to wait for Arnav ji's call!! Her happiness vanished..!
